THE 6-ENZYME BLEND
More targeted enzymes than any other natural detergent.
Most natural detergents use 1–2 enzymes. Branch Basics uses 2. Molly's Suds uses 2. We use 6 — each one engineered to target a different residue type so nothing gets missed in the wash.
When there is no fragrance masking odour, the enzyme blend has to do the full job. With 6 targeted enzymes, ours does.
Protease — breaks down protein-based stains and body odour at the source: sweat, grass, blood, dairy, body soil. The enzyme your laundry needs most.
Amylase — targets starch residue from food, baby formula, gravies, and oats. Dissolves what protein enzymes miss.
Lipase — dissolves fats and cooking oils so they rinse cleanly from fabric — not just loosen them and leave them.
Mannanase — removes gum-based residues from sauces, dressings, and processed foods. The enzyme most detergents skip entirely.
Pectate Lyase — breaks down pectin-based stains: fruit, tomato, berry, wine, baby food. Particularly effective in cold water.
Cellulase — targets plant fiber and vegetable residue while simultaneously softening fabric and restoring brightness without optical brighteners. Particularly important for sensitive skin households where fabric feel matters as much as clean.

WHY POWDER FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
Liquid detergents require synthetic preservatives to prevent bacterial growth — methylisothiazolinone and benzisothiazolinone are among the most common, and both are well-documented skin sensitisers.

HOW TO USE
Regular load: 1 tablespoon
Large or heavily soiled load: 2 tablespoons
Baby laundry: 1 tablespoon
Sprinkle directly into drum before adding laundry. Compatible with cold water, warm water, and hot water cycles. Safe for baby cycles and eco cycles. Works in all HE machines — top load and front load.
Pro tip: For heavily soiled items or persistent body odour, pre-dissolve 1 tablespoon in a cup of warm water and pour directly onto the affected area before loading. The enzyme blend works on contact — no fragrance needed to mask what it removes.
