• You should drink water after a massage to help the body flush toxins released from areas with newly increased blood flow
• Painful tension in muscles can be caused by injury, muscle spasms, or chronic inflammation. Always warm up muscles before intense activity, and relax tired muscles by massaging them to release built up lactic acid.
